Logistics Manager / Co-ordinator of International Activities

Central London office (WC1)

CWA International Ltd is a small yet well established international consultancy. We specialise in meeting the specific requirements of the marine and energy insurance sectors. The Practice handles a large number of cases concurrently which can make it a very busy work environment. Multi-disciplinary teams are established around some cases and are managed by our Directors. These teams are drawn from our extensive network of external consultants. CWA is committed to providing an excellent standard of service to its clients. The role of the Logistics Manager/Coordinator for International Activities is central therein. We require a highly motivated individual to take full responsibility for the efficient management and functioning of the practice and its international activities.


The Responsibilities:


Working in our multi-disciplined team, your responsibilities will include:

    Strategic liaison with clients and contacts locally and overseas

    Facilitating and managing key meetings for travelling experts

    Apprise the exact client requirements and ensure effective communication with appointed experts for optimal use of executives’ time abroad

    Managing and reviewing incoming and outgoing case correspondence

    Ensuring that all projects comply with the CWA ISO 9001 Quality Management System

    Reporting daily to the Directors and identifying hotspots

    Managing quality control over administrative and production reports and written advice

    Managing day to day activities of assistants and administration staff

    Managing the practice front office

    Managing all general administration; and

    Managing the maintenance of the CWA archive and technical information repositories

The Person:


To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

    A relevant Degree qualification required with at least 2 years previous relevant experience at NVQ level 3 or above essential.

    Must be self motivated, flexible and efficient

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions;

    A calm and rational approach in busy situations and must be able to work under pressure

    Excellent management and organisational skills

    Excellent IT skills essential

£ 27,500 p/a basic plus benefits and strong bonus incentive
