External Consultant. Chemist, Works closely with CWA Oil and Chemical Department with wide experience of product quality issues, particular expertise in the storage, handling and transportation of dangerous goods.

1988 to present Consultant in dangerous goods to several container shipping lines.
1988-1996
Consultant in dangerous goods to containerised shipping lines and part-time chemistry lecturer
1984-1986 Senior Adviser to the Dangerous Goods Directorate of the Department of Transport, Ottawa, Canada.  Familiar with both Canadian and USA regulations.  Sat on various dangerous goods committees including Chairman of one.
1982-1984 Technical Editor for the computerisation of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code for EXIS Ltd., London.
1977-1982 Hazardous Cargo Manager, for Atlantic Container Line, Southampton.
1970-1977 Senior Lecturer in Industrial and Organic Chemistry at Southampton College of Technology.
1964-1969 Lecturer in Applied and Industrial Chemistry at Leicester Polytechnic.
1960-1962 Laboratory Technician and “Sandwich” student in the following laboratories:
